Burton Chace Park and Rec. Center
 
Burton W. Chace Park offers multi-purpose rooms, picnic tables, barbecues, pergolas, picnic shelters, outdoor programs, great harbor viewing areas, guest docks, and is host to numerous year-round events. • Park and Office Hours: 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. 7 days a week.
• Multi-purpose Community Room, Park Grounds, and Picnic Shelters with Barbecues: available for meetings or social gatherings such as wedding receptions, birthday parties, baby showers, etc.
• Guest Boat Docks: stay overnight on our guest docks for up to seven nights. Launch your boat at the Trailerable Boat Launch Ramp.

FREE CONCERTS, CHACE PARK, MARINA DEL REY, 2008
Call 310-305-9545 for information, 13650 Mindanao Way, Marina del Rey, Parking in nearby lots. This summer, the MARINA DEL REY SUMMER CONCERTS will be presented by Arrowhead Mountain Spring Water, Don Knabe, Los Angeles County Supervisor, and the Los Angeles County Department of Beaches and Harbors. The concerts will start at 7:00pm, to allow audiences a view of the sunset over the water. Audiences are invited to picnic in the park in advance of each concert. Symphonic concerts will be on Thursday evenings at 7:00pm, and Pops concerts will be Saturday evenings at 7:00pm.

Fisherman's Village

To accommodate our disabled community, ADA accessible ramps are located at Burton Chace Park, Waterfront Walk/Fire Station #110, Dolphin Marina,
Marina Harbor, Marina "Mother's" Beach, and Esprit I. WaterBus attendants will arrange for land taxi service for passengers needing special assistance to any WaterBus boarding stop for $1.00.


 
Marina "Mother's" Beach

Marina Beach is also called "Mother's Beach". It's a favorite of mothers with children because there is no surf. There are climbing gyms and even a pirate ship for the kids. Restaurants and hotels are next to the beach, as well as picnic shelters.

Aubrey E. Austin Jr. Park and North Jetty
Aubrey E. Austin Jr. Park has a paved walkway out to the ocean end of the north jetty that is a favorite of joggers and fishermen. Beachgoers can walk along the
jetty to reach the Marina peninsula.
There is also a quiet spot (shown above) overlooking the Marina lagoon.
Both the jetty walkway and the overlook for the Marina lagoon are stroller
and wheelchair-accessible.

Glen Alta Park
Unable to find out much of anything about this Park. But its a large open space with newly planted trees. Looks perfect for playing frisbee, tossing a ball, runnig Fido, or just sunning and reading.
